As the Bahçeşehir University Science Communication Office, we participated in the introductory and evaluation meeting of the “Future Professions Programme,” organized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Ankara.

At the programme held at the YÖK 15 July National Will Hall, new educational programmes planned to be implemented in line with the 2030 vision for higher education, digital transformation-oriented professional fields, the data-driven relationship between professions and employment, and the strategic role of Science Communication Offices within the higher education ecosystem were comprehensively discussed.

At the meeting, which brought together rectors, administrators, and representatives of Science Communication Offices from different universities, efforts to bring scientific knowledge to society more effectively, expand the culture of science communication, and strengthen cooperation among universities were evaluated.

This important programme, in which we participated as the Bahçeşehir University Science Communication Office, served as a valuable gathering in terms of developing collaborations in the field of science communication, sharing examples of good practices, and strengthening a shared vision in higher education.

Our university will continue to contribute to efforts that support bringing science together with society and take an active role in national collaborations in the field of science communication.
