Yeşilay provides scholarship support to graduate, doctoral, and medical specialty students who will conduct thesis studies on alcohol, tobacco-smoking, drug addiction, gambling, and technology addiction in universities and research institutes, and who will contribute to Yeşilay’s areas of focus in the field of addiction.

Yeşilay aims to contribute to the increase of scientific research that can serve as a source for national and international efforts in the fight against addiction, enrich the literature on addiction, and support the development of policies and action plans. Based on this goal, since 2014, Yeşilay has been supporting thesis studies in the field of addiction through its Graduate Thesis Research Scholarship Support Program, which aims to promote both qualitative and quantitative research in a wide range of disciplines from health sciences to social sciences.

For the scholarship program, master’s students will receive 4,000 TL per month for 12 months, and doctoral and medical specialty students will receive 6,000 TL per month for 18 months. The application deadline is March 31, 2025.
