On 25 February 2026, Bahçeşehir University Technology Transfer Office (BAUTTO) organized a TÜBİTAK Research Support Programs Directorate (ARDEB) Project Training for faculty members and academics of Bahçeşehir University’s Faculty of Educational Sciences. The training was delivered by Hamdi Apalı, BAUTTO National Projects & BAP Specialist, and provided comprehensive information on TÜBİTAK ARDEB national academic R&D support programs.
The session covered the general structure of ARDEB support programs, prominent funding schemes such as the 1001 and 1003 programs, application and evaluation processes, and the systems available to researchers. Participants were also informed about the role of platforms such as ARBİS, the TÜBİTAK Application Wizard, and TARABİS in project development, as well as access to past project results through the TÜBİTAK-funded projects database.
Key technical requirements of the application process were addressed, including required documentation, data management plans, and intellectual property ownership procedures. Important reminders were also provided regarding the mandatory use of Qualified Electronic Certificates (NES) and e-signatures in ARDEB applications.
In addition, the training highlighted BAUTTO’s support services, including systematic monitoring of funding calls, matching academics with suitable programs based on their research areas, pre-evaluation of project proposals, and administrative coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
BAUTTO will continue its information and project support activities to strengthen the University’s research capacity and to enhance academics’ effective participation in national funding programs.
