On December 16, 2025, within the scope of the BAU Seminar Series, the second session of the “Leaders Talk About Artificial Intelligence” event titled “Are We Ready for the Future with Artificial Intelligence?” was held at Bahçeşehir University South Campus. The event was organized through the collaboration of the BAU Science Communication Office and CIFAL.
The seminar speaker, Mehmet Fırat, CIO of Enerjisa, addressed the transformation created by artificial intelligence in the energy sector from a comprehensive perspective. In his presentation, Mehmet Fırat emphasized how artificial intelligence technologies enable more efficient decision-making processes in energy production, distribution, and management, and also touched upon how these technologies shape companies’ long-term investment strategies.
Throughout the talk, the impact of artificial intelligence on data-driven decision-making mechanisms, its role in increasing operational efficiency, and its contribution to sustainability goals were discussed in detail. Participants had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the current state of digital transformation in the energy sector and the opportunities and challenges that may be encountered in the future.
