“Leaders Talk Artificial Intelligence” Event Series Kicks Off at Bahçeşehir University

A new event series exploring the transformation of leadership in the age of artificial intelligence has begun at Bahçeşehir University. The first session of the monthly series, titled “Leaders Talk Artificial Intelligence,” featured Mr. Levent Kömür, General Manager of Uludağ İçecek, as the guest speaker.

The event delved deeply into how artificial intelligence technologies are reshaping leadership through the lenses of reality, emotion, and culture. In his speech, Mr. Kömür emphasized that artificial intelligence is not merely a data- and algorithm-driven transformation, but one that must also place human culture, values, and emotional intelligence at its core.

Mr. Kömür stated, “No matter how advanced technology becomes, human meaning, culture, and emotions will continue to guide leadership. In the age of artificial intelligence, those who can combine these elements will be the ones to make a difference.”

Organized with the contribution of the BAU Science Communication Office, the event brought together academics, students, and industry professionals, offering them new perspectives on the leadership of the future.
