As an international platform designed with a focus on intellectual property, innovation, and the creative economy, IPistanbul’s launch and networking event was held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the BAU Club Lounge on Bahçeşehir University’s BAU South Campus, hosted by Bahçeşehir University.

We participated in the event as BAUTTO, which brought together invited representatives from consulates, cultural institutes, universities, companies, and creative industries.

IPistanbul’s Vision and Structure Were Shared

The vision, structure, and future goals of IPistanbul, which aims to create an international platform for exchange and collaboration in the field of intellectual property, were shared with participants during the event.

The program focused on Industrial Property Rights (Innovation Economy), addressing innovation-driven economic transformation, and Intellectual Property Rights (Creative Economy), highlighting the economic value of culture, arts, design, and creative industries. Representatives from various sectors and institutions exchanged views on current approaches and potential collaboration opportunities in these areas.

International Collaboration Opportunities Were Discussed

Held with the participation of special guests and closed to public attendance, the gathering was organized in the format of a launch, networking event, and cocktail reception. The event provided a platform for stakeholders from different disciplines to come together, interact, develop international connections, and explore new collaboration opportunities. The program, held between 18:00 and 20:00, also featured a three-person acoustic music group.Held at BAU Club, the event complemented the social and creative atmosphere of the gathering.

As BAUTTO, within the scope of our participation in the event, we came together with various stakeholders of the intellectual property and innovation ecosystem and exchanged evaluations regarding existing and potential areas of collaboration.
