Organized in collaboration with the Bahçeşehir University Science Communication Office and BAUPRO, the Bilim Kafe Etkinliği will take place on August 6, 2026, between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM at Bahçeşehir University BAU Campus, BAUPRO U101. The panel titled “Future Professions: Careers Shaped by Sustainability and Social Transformation” will explore the impact of sustainability-driven transformation on working life and the careers of the future.

During the panel, the effects of sustainability, the climate crisis, ESG transformation, and social transformation shaped within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on professions will be discussed. Career pathways related to climate action, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, and decent work and economic growth will also be shared with participants.

The panel will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Çisil Sohodol (Director of CIFAL Istanbul, UNITAR). The speakers will include Prof. Dr. Ahu Ergen, Head of the Department of International Trade and Business at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Bahçeşehir University, and Ceren Özay Uz, Director of Corporate Communications, Sustainability and Social Responsibility at FLO GROUP.
