At BAU, “Future Careers: Career Paths Shaped by Artificial Intelligence, Data and Digital Transformation” Will Be Discussed

Organized by Bahçeşehir University’s Office of Science Communication and BAUPRO, the Science Café Event focuses on the careers of the future and evolving career paths.

The event, titled “Future Careers: Career Paths Shaped by Artificial Intelligence, Data and Digital Transformation,” will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at BAU PRO U 101, BAU CAMPUS.

The event will explore emerging career opportunities in artificial intelligence, data, software, digital transformation and cybersecurity. It will also discuss how students can prepare for the careers of the future not only through choosing a degree program, but also through interdisciplinary competencies, digital skills, project experience, certification programs, internship opportunities and a portfolio-based approach.

At the Science Café panel, Prof. Dr. A. Arif Ergin, Dean of Bahçeşehir University’s Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, and Mehmet Ali Tombalak, Chair of the Board of Directors of TÜBİSAD, will participate as speakers.

The panel will explore important career paths of the future, including AI Engineering, Generative AI, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity. It will also highlight how these career paths can be supported through academic programs, minor and double major opportunities, certificate programs, BAUGO, Coursera, CO-OP, BAUPRO, internships and project opportunities.
