Applications are now open for the Google Academic Research Awards. It provides up to $100,000 in funding to recognize and support academic researchers in computing and technology who are making a positive societal impact in the world.

This year, they’re interested in research across the following areas:

➡️ AI for Privacy, Safety, and Security
➡️ Trust, Safety, Security, and Privacy Research
➡️ Quantum Neuroscience

The program is open to professors (assistant, associate, etc.) at degree-granting institutions who are advising students and conducting research in the field of technology and computing.

Applications due by July 23, 2025.
