BAU Research Colloquium: Sharing Ideas, Advancing Research Event Successfully Held!

The BAU Research Colloquium: Sharing Ideas, Advancing Research event, organized by Bahçeşehir University, was held on April 10, 2026, at the South Campus C Terrace with strong academic participation.

The opening speech of the event was delivered by Prof. Dr. Esra Hatipoğlu, while the presentation on the research strategy was given by Prof. Dr. Tunç Bozbura. Within the scope of the program, Rector’s Advisor Dr. Nil Kalıp Girgin, responsible for Digital Transformation, Data-Driven Decision Making, and the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, and Rector’s Advisor Prof. Dr. Çisil Sohodol, responsible for Quality-Oriented Process Management and Sustainability, also contributed with their presentations.

At the event, the university’s approach to research transformation, current research performance, and strategic priorities were shared with the participants. Information regarding the processes carried out by BAUTTO and the research ecosystem was also presented.

During the sessions held within the scope of the program, academics had the opportunity to share their opinions and evaluations regarding research activities. Following the event, the BAU Research Ecosystem Map was presented, providing a general framework of the research structure within the university.
