“CourseGPT Workshop” Held at BAU Faculty of Medicine

A “CourseGPT Workshop” was held at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with OpenAI, the Artificial Intelligence Competency Unit, and the Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT). Within the scope of the workshop, faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine gained knowledge and competencies on the use of AI-powered tools in teaching and learning processes.

During the hands-on training sessions conducted by Dr. Sezin Eşfer Öndünç, participants explored the potential of artificial intelligence to create effective, accessible, and inclusive learning environments in educational processes. Throughout the workshop, examples were shared on how GPT-based assistants can be designed in line with course objectives, content, and teaching–learning processes through activities carried out using the OpenAI infrastructure.

The activities conducted as part of the workshop contributed to the development of approaches that support digital transformation in educational practices. Within the framework of the university’s artificial intelligence initiative, these trainings are planned to be expanded to all academic and administrative units of Bahçeşehir University in the upcoming period, aiming to create a broader impact.
